The Exhibition Marquee

The Farming2020 Exhibition Marquee is open to the public from 9.30am – 4.00pm. You can view a list of the Exhibitors here.

Entry to the Exhibition Marquee is free. Car parking is available in the designated Parking area at the entrance to the LIC Innovation Farm.

Please follow the signs to the Exhibition Marquee. The LIC Innovation Farm is a commercial, working farm. We would be grateful if you could keep to the designated pathways as set up by the Farm managers.

The Presentation Theatre Schedule

The Farming2020 Presentations are being hosted at the on-site Hooper Innovation Centre.

The Presentations will consist of both formal presentations with two moderated discussion panels. All presentations will be videoed and streamed live across the web. Content collected during the three days of events will be available online after the event has closed.

Steve Harcourt, Head of Product Development at LIC Automation, will provide insights into how LIC Automation views AgTech development over the next five years

12.45pm – 1.00pm InFact
Winners of the 2015 New Zealand Innovators Award in Agribusiness and the Environment, InFact is a full-service, award-winning product design consultancy, based in Christchurch.
1.15pm – 1.45pm KEYNOTE: Fonterra Farm Source
Fonterra Farm Source provides digital support to its farmer shareholders through a series of online portals.

Evelyn Seewald, Fonterra’s General Manager Operations and Farmer Services, will provide insights into the recent Farm Source Activate 2.0 initiative and its vision for future engagement with the early stage AgTech sector

2.00pm – 2.30pm KEYNOTE: Spark
Spark New Zealand are developing exciting new technologies to support the growth of the digital farm. Spark will be demonstrating some of their new technology, currently being trialed on-farm, at Farming2020.

Michael Stribling, GM Group Strategy, Spark, will talk about Spark’s long-term vision for the sector and how they plan to support that vision over the coming years

2.45pm – 3.00pm Pepper Creative
Hamilton-based, Pepper Creative have moved into the virtual and augmented reality space and have a virtual cow shed demo and forklift training demo. This has created a significant opportunity for training, compliance and product marketing in the agricultural sector.
3.15pm – 3.30pm Orange Cross
Orange Cross is a tool to help farmers with their Health and Safety obligations. It is created by farmers for farmers and is strongly aligned to the Dairy Farmers of New Zealand.
3.45pm – 4.00pm BuzzTech
BuzzTech, a recent graduate of the Sprout AgTech Accelerator Programme is on a mission to improve the state of the apiculture industry through more accurate data.
