The Exhibition Marquee
The Farming2020 Exhibition Marquee is open to the public from 9.30am – 4.00pm. You can view a list of the Exhibitors here.
Entry to the Exhibition Marquee is free. Car parking is available in the designated Parking area at the entrance to the LIC Innovation Farm.
Please follow the signs to the Exhibition Marquee. The LIC Innovation Farm is a commercial, working farm. We would be grateful if you could keep to the designated pathways as set up by the Farm managers.
The Presentation Theatre Schedule
The Farming2020 Presentations are being hosted at the on-site Hooper Innovation Centre.
The Presentations will consist of both formal presentations with two moderated discussion panels. All presentations will be videoed and streamed live across the web. Content collected during the three days of events will be available online after the event has closed.

|Peter Wren-Hilton, founder of Wharf42 and the Farming2020 initiative, will introduce and moderate the ‘Taking New Zealand AgTech to the US’ Panel Discussion
Audience seats for the ‘Taking New Zealand AgTech to the US’ panel discussion are limited to 75. Tickets to attend the session cost just $25, plus GST – and any booking fee. They can be purchased on the Farming2020 ‘Taking New Zealand AgTech to the US’ Eventbrite page.

|The U.S. Consulate General in Auckland is a branch of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission to New Zealand. The Consul General will talk about how the positive leveraging of New Zealand’s close relationship with the US can help identify and increase trading opportunities for New Zealand’s AgTech sector
|11.00am – 12.00pm||The ‘Taking New Zealand AgTech to the US’ Fireside Chat|
|Peter Wren-Hilton will moderate a ‘Fireside Chat’ with special guests Rob Trice & Bill Reichert. Rob is Founder of The Mixing Bowl & Valley-based Better Food Ventures. Bill is the co-founder & Managing Director of Garage Technology Ventures.
The focus of the discussion follows the recent successful visit by 21 New Zealand AgTech leaders who participated in the 2017 Silicon Valley AgTech Immersion Program & Conference.
A Q&A session will enable members of the audience to ask Rob & Bill direct questions from the floor
|12.00pm – 12.30pm||Dennis Donohue, Head of the Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology|
|Dennis will join the session via video conference from Salinas, CA. Dennis will talk about the opportunity that the Center provides New Zealand AgTech companies looking to validate their technology and then scale their business in the US market with the support of Western Growers members|
|1.00pm – 1.30pm||KEYNOTE: Gallagher|
|Gallagher are a global leader in the innovation and marketing of animal management, security, fuel systems and contract manufacturing solutions. Mark Harris, Global Marketing Manager – Animal Management, will share Gallagher’s long-term vision and support for New Zealand’s AgTech sector.|
|2.00pm – 2.15pm||TAG IT Technologies|
|Seeing an opportunity to develop the use of on-farm data, Tag IT’s HALO product now with more than 130 systems live on farms throughout New Zealand. Monitoring water meters, tank levels, milking systems and milk vats along with command and control of effluent systems and reporting from weather stations the HALO Farm System does it all|

|TraceLens is an exciting platform that provides traceability solutions utilising a distributed ledger via the blockchain. Based in Gisborne, but born out of Sunnyvale, CA you can check out their tech as they emerge from stealth|

|Watermetrics provide water meters and installation and servicing; soil moisture and temperature data; data loggers and telemetry and fail safe effluent and monitoring. A division of DataCol NZ, this team is based out of Hamilton|
