What a way to end 2016!
Having helped initiate the inaugural 2016 Silicon Valley AgTech Immersion Program & Conference with our Silicon Valley partners, Silicon Valley Forum, Wharf42 is set to launch a major new AgTech event in New Zealand.
Last week, the organisers of New Zealand’s Techweek 17 announced that Farming2020 was to be one of its signature events for a week of tech love next May. Over 100 tech events have already been scheduled across the country from 7 – 14 May 2017. We are delighted that Farming2020 has ensured that New Zealand’s rapidly emerging AgTech sector is taking centre stage. It’s not before time.
This is no light endeavour. Farming2020’s website at www.farming2020.nz provides a highlight of some of the planned events. This is one gig that just keeps on growing. Since Techweek released this media release last Monday, we have been inundated with offers of support from different players in the country’s AgTech ecosystem.
Even though we are today powering down for the festive holidays, we thought it would be sensible to provide some ideas to enable you to directly support the Farming2020 initiative.
Firstly, keep in touch. There are several ways you can do this.
- Join the Farming2020 monthly newsletter list by subscribing here
- Follow Farming2020 on Twitter by clicking here
- Follow Farming2020 on Facebook by signing up here
- Join the conversation on the Farming2020 LinkedIn Group page here
Secondly, if you want to either exhibit at, or sponsor any part of the Farming2020 event, please complete the Expression of Interest Form here. We will get back to you in the second half of January with more details.
Finally, if you want to engage and become part of the organising team, please contact me directly by email. That’s Peter Wren-Hilton at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Farming2020 program has been designed to promote New Zealand’s growing AgTech sector to both a domestic and international audience. We are delighted to be taking centre stage during Techweek 17. We very much hope that you can join the conversation.
We hope you have a happy and peaceful festive holiday.
